Assessment and Development Professional, 3iQ Leadership

John has worked as a talent management and leadership development specialist since 1980. He has designed and conducted management development programs for executives in various industries in throughout Australia, Singapore and South East Asia. John is experienced in assessment; he is certified by renowned assessment provider Chally organization, founded by funding from the US Justice Department.

John has designed and run Assessment Centres, and been retained by organizations to assist them in hi-potential assessment and selection. As Project Director for the Asia-Pacific Change Management and Executive Coaching project for an IT Services company, John planned and managed the project to support their leadership team through organisational change involving provision of executive coaching services. John is passionate about Executive Coaching and leadership development and offers coaching as means to help executives achieve their goals, secure behaviour change and realize their leadership potential.

In his coaching experience, John has addressed a wide range of issues including individual, team and organizational development that directly impact leader behaviour and relationships with others. John holds a PhD, Leadership Psychology from Monash University, Australia and a Master’s of Science in Asia Pacific Human Resources Management from NUS. John is a Certified Chally Talent Analyst and Certified Executive Coach.

Regional Marketing Director, Asia Pacific and Middle East, Aspect

Steven Tan is the Regional Marketing Director for Asia Pacific and Middle East at Aspect Software. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of product planning and corporate and product marketing. Steven brings with him over 20 years of marketing management in the Asia Pacific region.

His worked some of the renowned companies such as IBM, HP and Lucent Technologies in leading regional marketing strategy, driving market awareness of the brand, and growing the company’s revenue and market share through demand generation programs. Additionally, his portfolio also includes forging and maintaining media and analyst relations.

Tan holds a Masters of Business Administration degree and a Graduate Diploma from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, United Kingdom. He also has a Bachelors of Business Administration (Hons) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Texas, United States.

Director, Dominion LLC

Arthur Quay graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1984 with a Bachelor of Law degree with Honours. He was called to the Singapore Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1985. He has practised in a prominent law firm before joining the Urban Redevelopment Authority as legal counsel involved in land acquisition and rent control matters.

Arthur has also worked as in-house legal counsel for a private corporation and resumed private practice thereafter as a partner in 2 law firms before joining Dominion LLC as a director. He is also a Commissioner-for-Oaths.

Suat Toh has more than 15 years of experience in the Life Science and Bio-Medical sectors. She has been managing and growing business for MNCs in the Asia Pacific region for many years. In her roles, she is responsible for all aspects of business operation and corporate planning. She has worked in companies such as Becton Dickinson, Tm Bioscience and Abbott Laboratories in formulating business and marketing strategies, driving physician education and brand awareness, and growing the companies’ revenue and market share within the regions.

Prior to her commercial involvement, she had worked in laboratories in Australia, US and Singapore as R&D scientist in both commercial and academic institutes. She obtained her Ph.D from University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.

Professional Management and Operation Consultant

Peter Pooh is an expert in business process re-engineering and operational improvement for the manufacturing and services industries. He has over 18 years experience in the areas of technical and operational management. He has acquired multi-industry experience in building, strengthening and managing operations, R & D, supply chain and continuous improvement activities for public and private companies in various start-up, stable and high growth situations. He has also developed the ability to quickly understand the intricacies of diverse industries to make necessary tactical and strategic improvements on cost reduction, planning, reporting and controls.

Peter Pooh is currently a part-time industry expert consultant with SIMTech (Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology) and a management consultant for a number of SMEs) in Singapore and China. Prior to 2010, Peter has worked for various MNCs, which included British Gas PLC, General Motors, Philips, GES International, Flextronics International, and Advanex Inc. He is also a member of the SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) Advanced Packaging Technical Committee and the Pan Pacific Microelectronics Technical Committee.

He holds a PhD in Engineering (Mechatronics) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Queen’s University of Belfast (UK); and a Graduate Diploma in Computer and Business Studies.

Yang Poh is a seasoned finance professional and leader, with 18 years of experience working with some of the world’s top MNCs from a myriad of industries, namely, Human Resources, IT, FMCG, Logistics, Oil Trading and Banking. Yang Poh holds an MBA (Finance) and BSC (Finance/Accounting) from the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, USA. He is fluent in English, Chinese, and Malay.
